Please note that the warranty is effective only if a valid receipt is provided as proof of purchase from a professional beauty salon, select authorized retail or online reseller, or from the oicial Moroccanoil website (the “Authorized Reseller(s)”). The warranty is void if the Moroccanoil styling tool was not originally purchased through an Authorized Reseller. In addition to proof of purchase from an Authorized Reseller and, if the person claiming under the warranty is not the original purchaser, evidence of change of ownership of the Moroccanoil styling tool, the serial number adhered to the returned product must be identical to the serial number referenced on the warranty. If a Moroccanoil styling tool is bought from an Authorized Reseller then sold to a third party, then the warranty is transferred with the Moroccanoil styling tool subject to appropriate evidence of the change of ownership being documented. The warranty shall be considered null and void if the product’s serial number is defaced, tampered, destroyed or illegible.
Moroccanoil warrants all of its styling tools against defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from original purchase date (“Warranty Period”). If we receive a claim deemed valid during the Warranty Period, we will repair the returned tool or replace it with a product Moroccanoil in its discretion deems to be of equivalent value. The Warranty will continue to apply to the repaired or replaced styling tool, until the end of the original Warranty Period.
This warranty DOES NOT COVER cosmetic damage including scratches or dents, or physical damage and normal wear and tear including but not limited to: rusting, shorts in the power supply cord or plug, or excessive product buildup on the barrel or scratched or damaged barrel (in the case of styling irons), or damage due to accident, misuse or abuse such as: dropping (broken housing, broken hinges, loose barrel, rattling noise, etc.), wrong voltage supply (including use of the tool in a country other than where it was intended to be used), damage from external sources such as transport, electrical outages or power surges, damage or failure due to unpredictable circumstances or neglect in safety precautions or regular maintenance; use of styling tool for any purpose other than styling hair as set out in the tool manual, or any tampering or modification such as repair or attempted repair by unauthorized persons, or use of unauthorized attachments.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY THE LAW IN THE COUNTRY OF PURCHASE, THIS WARRANTY AND THE REMEDIES AND CONDITIONS SET FORTH ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REMEDIES AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WE EXPRESSLY EXCLUDE, AND WE WILL NOT PAY ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES FOR THE BREACH OF ANY WARRANTY, AND WE ASSUME NO RESPONSIBILITIES FOR YOUR LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCT, OR FOR ANY OTHER INCONVENIENCE OR CONSEQUENTIAL EXPENSE.
Consumers have additional rights, which are not affected by the existence and terms of this warranty.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU HAVE A CLAIM?
The Moroccanoil warranty for products purchased in the EU is provided by Moroccanoil Israel Ltd. and administered by Moroccanoil Italy S.r.L. and/or Moroccanoil’s regional partners and ailiates. If a product fails to operate properly due to a covered defect and it is within the Warranty Period, please contact the authorized reseller from which you purchased the product for return instructions.
Please note that for all warranty claims, you will be required to provide details of your styling tool, including the date of purchase and proof of purchase, and a written note explaining the problem you experienced.
